Participate in the COC Netherlands LGBT asylum survey 2018!
COC Netherlands would like to invite you to participate in survey about the experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender asylum seekers and refugees. We would like to hear about the experiences you’ve had with the IND and in the COA reception centers. The results of the survey will be published in a report.
The survey is online and user-friendly. You should be able to complete it within 20 minutes or less.

Who can participate?
You can participate if you:
- Identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender AND
- Arrived in the Netherlands in January 2016 or later AND
- Are still in the asylum procedure OR have a status (on A or B ground)
This survey is part of a research into the experiences of LGBT asylum seekers and refugees, especially with the IND and COA. This research will help COC understand the key challenges and issues that LGBT asylum seekers and refugees face. The results of the research will be published in a report.
We ask all participants for their V-number. We do this because the funder of this research (the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund) wants to check with COA whether all participants are asylum seekers or refugees on the date of the survey. We will not publish your name or your V-number. COC will NOT share any of your answers with COA. In writing the report we will regard your anonymity and we will not publish any information through which you could be recognised.
